The review of the West Glasgow Minor Injuries Unit may affect East Dunbartonshire residents as users of the service.
In summary, it is proposed that the review will look at the options for minor injuries services for people in West Glasgow, East Dunbartonshire and West Dunbartonshire.
It will look at:
- how accessible minor injuries services are for people in Greater Glasgow and Clyde
- how many people need to use minor injuries services
- the money required for minor injuries services and
- how patients and the public will be involved and engaged in this process.
Details of the consultation will be sent around East Dunbartonshire to all areas where the population use the service and will be sent to GP’s, opticians, dental practice, pharmacists, etc.
There will be two public consultation events in early September and all East Dunbartonshire residents are welcome:
